Man arrested on warrant
WALTHAM - Sean Mayo, 42, of 120 Robbins St., was arrested yesterday at 1:31 a.m. outside 789 Main St. on a Taunton District Court warrant charging him with for larceny by check, police said.

Homeless man arrested on 4 warrants
WALTHAM - A homeless man turned himself over to police at the Lexington Street station yesterday at 12:47 a.m., police said.
Anthony Chick, 24, was charged with four Waltham District Court warrants charging him with threatening to commit a crime; violation of an abuse order; assault with a dangerous weapon; breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit felony; and malicious destruction of property over $250, police said.

Man arrested on warrant
WALTHAM - Police arrested a Waltham man on a warrant charge on Tuesday at 9:29 on River Street, police said.
Segundo Rivera, 21, of 81 Gardner St., was arrested on a Chelsea warrant for possession of Class D substance with the intent to distribute and a drug violation near a school.

Waltham man arrested on warrant
WALTHAM - George Vondohlen, 45, of 77 Pine St., was arrested on a warrant Monday at 7:46 p.m. at Beech and Alder streets, police said.
Police said Vondohlen was wanted on a Waltham District Court warrant charging him with shoplifting and possessing a Class B substance, police said.

Teen charged with assault
WALTHAM - An 18-year-old Waltham woman was arrested Monday at 7:32 p.m. after police said she hit family members.
Samantha Alden, 18, of 45 Fir Ave., was charged with three counts of assault and battery, police said. Police said during an argument over the use of a family car, Alden scratched her cousin, punched her mother in the arm and head with a closed fist and kicked her brother in the stomach.

Police search for armed robber
NEWTON - Police responded to an armed robbery at Linens & Things, at 260 Needham St., on Monday at 12:14 p.m.
As employees were leaving to deposit store funds in the bank, a man approached them and asked for the money, police said. The suspect showed a .45-caliber handgun in his waistband.
The employees handed over the bag, and the suspect ran south on Charlemont Street toward the Stark Co., police said.
The suspect is described as 30 to 35 years old, 165 pounds with a scruffy, thin beard. He wore sunglasses, a blue jacket with red stripes, blue sweat pants and a baseball hat, police said.
Another witness said he had noticed a man acting suspiciously in front of the store since 8 a.m., looking in the window, but he had a blue jacket with a yellow stripe and was wearing a black knit hat.

Four charged with breaking and entering
NEWTON - Four men were arrested Saturday after police said they broke into a Crafts Street home at 4:27 p.m.
Edmanuel Colon, 18, of 212 Adams St., Newton; William Erazo, 19, of 22 Baldwin St., Malden; Jeffrey Quiles, 18, 10 Forsyth St., Chelsea; and Joseph Jones, 18, 22 Baldwin St., Malden, were charged with breaking and entering, police said.

Waltham man and his brother arrested
WALTHAM - A man who was visiting 64 Calvary St. was attacked by a man wielding a box cutter Sunday at 3:38 p.m., police said.
When police responded, they said they saw a man with a 2-inch cut to his temple and a gash on his left leg.
Thomas Ornelas, 40, of 64 Calvary St., was charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Also arrested was Jamie Ornelas, 32, of 64 Calvary St., for two counts of intimidation of a witness. Police said Ornelas threatened two people at the residence so they wouldn't point out his brother, Thomas.

Driver arrested after striking car
WALTHAM - Police found a car that had hit a parked car Sunday at 1:13 p.m.
Police responded to an accident at 214 Robbins St. They found a car with heavy front end damage outside 194 Brown St.
Ismar Quevedo-Revolorio, 32, of 184 Brown St., was charged with drunken driving, driving without a license, driving negligently and leaving the scene of an accident after causing property damage, police said.

Customer complains about french fires
WALTHAM - A man who was unhappy with his order at McDonald's, 789 Main St., was arrested Saturday at 5:17 p.m.
Police said the man who had gone through the drive-through window went inside to discuss the number of french fries he'd received. He complained, caused a disturbance and pushed the cash register off the counter onto the floor.
Gregory Bono, 18, of 18 Carolina St., Medford, was charged with malicious damage of property and disorderly conduct, police said.

Police say man threw food at his girlfriend
WALTHAM - Police said a man threw his hamburger and french fries at his girlfriend outside a house on Gilman Road on Saturday at 11:49 a.m.
Chad Contranchis, 29, of 5 Temple Road, was charged with assault and battery, police said.

Local man accused of assault
WALTHAM - A Waltham man was arrested Saturday at 3:59 a.m. after he grabbed his girlfriend and threw her on a bed, police said.
Police said the man grabbed the woman forcefully by the wrist, threw her on a mattress and then put his hand over her mouth so no one would hear her yell.
Evan Gately, 24, of 222 Totten Pond Road, was charged with assault and battery and intimidation of a witness, police said.

Woman arrested on assault charge
WALTHAM - Police responded to a report Saturday at 2:04 a.m. that an argument turned violent at 1 Macks Court.
When they arrived they learned that a woman threw punches at her boyfriend. She left and went home to Acton, where police arrested her and brought her to Waltham.
Katie Hartman, 22, of 227 Arlington St., Acton, was charged with assault and battery, police said.

Police arrest man wanted on warrant
WALTHAM - Zachary Alexander, 23, of 95 Adams St., was arrested Friday at 12:29 a.m. outside 240 Moody St.
He was wanted on a Cambridge District Court warrant for driving without a license and failing to stop, police said.

Man faces assault charges
WALTHAM - A Waltham man who was arrested the previous day for assault and battery was arrested again Thursday at 2:41 p.m.
Dana Russo, 49, of 25 Fern St., was charged with two counts of intimidation of a witness and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife.
According to police, he threatened his two children to not testify against him in his arrest a day earlier for assault and battery on his wife.
While at the home, police said they learned from one of the children that Russo came at them with a knife in October.

Police arrest man wanted on warrant
WALTHAM - Jorge Caceras, 36, homeless, was arrested on a default warrant for receiving a stolen credit card and credit card fraud over $250.
He was arrested Wednesday at 6:31 p.m., police said.

Police arrest man on assault charge
WALTHAM - Dana Russo, 49, of 25 Fern St., was arrested Wednesday at 5:42 p.m. at his house after he slapped his wife in the face, police said.
He was charged with assault and battery.

Police arrest man on assault charge
NEWTON - A Newton man was arrested Saturday at 3:38 a.m.
Jonathan McElroy, 29, of 219 Tremont St., was charged with domestic assault and battery, police said.

Waltham man charged with drunken driving
NEWTON - A Waltham man who left the scene of an accident was charged with drunken driving Saturday at 1:54 a.m.
Police said they responded to an accident near 515 Crafts St. The victim said a white van left the scene after the accident and that it had driver's-side damage. Police found a van matching the description on Harding Street. A resident on Harding Street said she heard a loud noise, looked out the window and saw the driver get out of the van and throw something into her bushes. Police found an open bottle of vodka.
The driver, Jose Corona, 25, of 131 Pine St., Waltham, was charged with drunken driving and driving with a revoked license.
