At Dean we redesigned our cruisers. I wanna know what you guys think? Also no more "Public Safety" for us.

Yeah, it's alright though. It took us alot of work to get it to what we wanted. We got rid of our old letter that said Public Safety. But at night the Patch beams right out at you as it is reflective. People do give a double look at it. We are pleased with it. It is one of many changes our department has done these past few months. The college administration was pretty pleased with it as well.

FIrst time in 8 years that we have had POLICE on the cruiser. May seem small to some of you guys but it's a big step for us.

Congrats to the Dean College Police Department!! I think the cruisers look sharp.

Ignore those with snide comments. I am sure those disgruntled folks are busy sitting behind a concierge desk at an Elderly Complex "dispatching" calls for a local College PD that not too long ago was in the same boat Dean College was in.

Just remember, as quick as a College Security force can evolve into a Campus Police Department, a Campus Police Department can revolve back to a Campus Security over night. I was told that this particular Campus Police Department may be disbanding in the near future.

Well, if you want an honest opinion...

Perhaps there are better designs out there. The red stripe is corny. The badge on there looks good. Most college dept.'s do not like the word "police", so a badge will do. I am sure it is better than the last. It should be anyway. Our new design sucks in my dept., and I agreed to it on paper! So trust me, I am not ranking.

It would be great to see the design on the cruiser before putting the decals on. The only way to amend it is by changing the design until you get it just right. Boy do we need to change ours!

If this adminstration has their way we will be Security Guards doing Detex rounds in no time. I not sure on the disbanding of the department but we have taken a good beating from the Department's adminstration. Anything we do wrong in the eyes of the Director and his assistant is because we have POLICE on the cruiser and because we recently changed to Navy Blue shirts. What a crock of sh*t we are still doing the same crap as always. :BM: :FM: P: :FT:

Just put the new cruiser in the gallery. There is mixed reaction to the design. Look ma, she has pushbars!

I like it okay, but the font could be smaller on the doors.
