Ok, I've watched both episodes so far and find "Boardwalk Empire" fan-freakin'-tastic. Scorsese directed the first episode, Timothy van Patten the second. Neither have anything to prove, but they succeeded in making this a great show. Both are executive producers as is Mark Wahlberg. HBO still has what it takes. And Steve Buschemi (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) fits this role better than a pair of spats fits a pair of wingtips. (If for any reason that analogy sucks, my apologies.)
