A paintball mask, several cell phones, marijuana and a loaded .9 mm handgun were found in the car of a New Bedford man arrested Wednesday in Lakeville during a traffic stop, police said.

LAKEVILLE - A New Bedford man with a loaded handgun and marijuana was arrested early Wednesday after a traffic stop in Lakeville.
Craig Turner, 28, of 22 Briarwood Drive, New Bedford, was stopped at 1 a.m. on Route 140 for failing to stay in the marked lanes.
Lakeville Police Officer Ryan Maltais subsequently searched the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana along with a Beretta .9 mm handgun with a full clip of ammunition.
Officer Maltais alsow seized four cell phones, drug paraphernalia, gloves and a paintball mask.
Mr. Turner was charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, illegal possession of a Class D substance and a marked lanes violation.
Mr. Turner was released on $1,500 cash bail and arraigned Wednesday in Wareham District Court.
Lakeville Police Sgt. Matthew Perkins assisted Officer Maltais in the investigation.
