I heard from a Mass Highway Trooper that they are looking into the possibility of hiring recently laid off civil service cops. They are proposing a six week orientation to the highway patrol. Because there are so many layoffs all over the state, those hired will get to be stationed at a nearby barracks. This will save the Highway patrol a lot of money, and reduce the need to hire another class for the time being, yet fill up some of the holes they have in staffing. I think its a great idea, it will save the state some money, and help out those layed-off cops!

 You shit stirer, you never change and that's why we love you. I know guys that were layed off back in 1990-1991. Two went to MSP but had to do thr whole academy. There's not truth to that rumor people, it's 24 weeks of hell or nothing. T-Boner, are you guys still merging with MSP?

I heard this Chief is coming back to straighten your ass out.
