Perhaps some coordination with local law enforcement would have been nice.....

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- When North Andover police burst into an Osgood Street gas station with their guns drawn, they thought they were about to take down two armed robbers.

What they discovered was they had made their way into the scenes of a film.

After a concerned citizen called police saying that the convenience store was being held up, five police cruisers responded to the gas station.

When they arrived, there were two men with guns pointing them at the store clerk. Police entered, talked the men to the ground, and ordered them to drop their guns.

The owner of the gas station then came out and informed police that the men were filming a movie.

It was determined the men were actors and the guns were plastic.

The men were released and not arrested.

I suppose the thought of notifying the police of the movie shoot never occurred to anyone? Its a good thing nobody got shot! What a disaster that could have been. Unreal!

What a bunch of morons, they are lucky they put the guns down...imagine if they didnt realize the REAL cops were not acting...the would have gotten shot and the Police would have been justified...

Just pointing out the obvious here.....but didn't they notice a film crew?????
I have run in to a few situations over the years where students or Indie groups are filming and they us small handhelds or are a distance away. Coordination doesn't even occur to them until a real weapon is pointing right at them.
