The fourth annual Police Sgt. Bobby Guiney Memorial Motorcycle Run will be held Saturday morning.
Hull is the starting and finishing point for the charitable outing honoring Guiney, who lived in Hull. The Boston Police Department veteran of more than 20 years had served as the town's harbormaster. He died at 49 in October 2004 after a 10-year battle with cancer.
Riders may register at Hull High School on Main Street, at the end of the Hull peninsula, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The entry fee is $20 per motorcycle, plus $10 for each additional rider.
Participants will receive a T-shirt and a free lunch at The Red Parrot on Nantasket Beach. The restaurant donated the food and hall, said Duxbury Police Chief Mark Deluca, an organizer.
There were 400 to 500 motorcycles in last year's event.
"The bigger the better," Deluca said.
The course for the ride goes through 10 towns and is about 25 miles long, Deluca said. It includes stretches through Brant Rock and the Scituate Harbor and Cohasset Harbor areas.
The rain date for the ride is Aug. 2.
