Police are searching for one or more suspects who broke into the Mobil gas station on Rte. 85 and stole a "substantial amount of cash" Sunday night.
Detective Lt.

James Falvey said a worker called police just before 6 a.m. yesterday when he arrived at work and "found the place trashed."
A metal side door was pried open and a "large sum" was stolen from a drop box, Falvey said.
He would not detail the amount, saying it would compromise the investigation.
Another "large sum" was taken from an ATM inside the Mobil mart, Falvey said.
Equipment from inside of the gas station, which closes at 11 p.m., was also taken. The store's alarm system was disabled and burglars stole recording devices and ripped wires from the wall, police said.
Security cameras and VCRs were reported missing and a filing cabinet inside an office was also pried open, police said.
Falvey estimated the break-in caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Police are planning to interrogate a "person of interest."
Falvey would not confirm if the suspect is familiar with the store, but he said "judging from the circumstances, if might lead (you) to believe that."
Police are hopeful the cash will be recovered.
"There's always a chance," Falvey said.
The gas station at 134 Cedar St. was open for business yesterday.
Anyone with information regarding the break-in is urged to call Milford Police at 508-473-1113.
