Cops warn about car break-ins
NORTHBRIDGE - Police are urging residents to be more careful about locking their cars after a rash of nighttime break-ins.
Global positioning systems, iPods, cash and wallets are among the items that have been stolen, police said.
Chief Walter Warchol recommended people hide valuables from view overnight and lock their cars to deter such crimes.
No arrests have been made.

Milford man faces larceny charge
MILFORD - Police applied for a summons Monday for a 30-year-old Milford man, police said.
Rogerio Leonel Gondim, of 20 Whitney St., will be charged with larceny over $250, police said.

Man faces larceny, forgery charges
MILFORD - A 44-year-old Milford man was arrested Monday night on several larceny and fraud charges, police said.
Vicente Demelo, of 27 South Bow St., Apt. 3, was arrested around 6 p.m. after a business on Water Street reported him for cashing counterfeit money orders, police said.
Demelo was charged with larceny over $250, two counts of forgery of a document, two counts of uttering a false document and attempting to commit a crime. He was also wanted on a warrant from Worcester District Court.

Teen faces drug charges
FRANKLIN - A 17-year-old Woonsocket, R.I., man was arrested Monday night on drug charges, police said.
Joshua J. Fournier, of 54 Linden Ave., was arrested around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Interstate 495 South and West Central Street, police said.
He was charged with possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, police said.

Two treated after car crash
BELLINGHAM - Two people were treated for minor injuries suffered in a two-car crash Monday afternoon, police said.
The accident occurred around 3:20 p.m. near 101 Pulaski Boulevard. The two people, whose names were not released, were taken by ambulance to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., police said.

Upton man faces suspended license charge
MENDON - Police applied for a summons for a 28-year-old Upton man on a motor vehicle charge, police said.
Brett P. Garceau, of 1 Brookside St., will be charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
Garceau was pulled over at 6 a.m. Monday on Providence Street, police said.
