Milford man faces assault charge
MILFORD - Police say they plan to summon a Milford man, Enrique Guaman Edmundo, 17, of 40 Franklin St., to court on a charge of assault and battery.
Police say they were conducting a well-being check when they found Edmundo's alleged victim yesterday morning with bruises on her right arm.
Uxbridge man cited after crash
HOPEDALE - Police cited an Uxbridge man Sunday for following too closely and failing to use care when stopping, after a two-car accident on Mendon Street.
Edward Hayes, 22, of 27 Whitin St., was cited about 6:45 p.m. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
Uxbridge man charged with OUI
UXBRIDGE - Police arrested a town man early Sunday morning on one count of drunken-driving, following a one-car accident near the intersection of North Main and Garden streets.
David Poirier, 19, of 64 Sutton St., was also charged with a marked-lanes violation, police said. The incident happened about 1:20 a.m.
