Cars collide; two hurt
MILFORD A two-car crash on East Main Street on Sunday sent two people to the hospital and led police to apply for a summons for a 40-year-old Milford man.
Police said Carlos R. Bispo, of 2 Pheasant Circle, Apt. 8, was traveling east on East Main Street around 3:45 p.m., lost control of his 2000 Volkswagen and struck another car head-on.
The 2007 Toyota Bispo's car hit was driven by Michelle E. Park, 28, of Franklin. Park's passenger, Sun Park, 61, of Franklin, was taken by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Bispo was also treated at the hospital for minor injuries, police said.
He will be charged with driving without a license, failing to wear a seat belt, speeding and making a marked lanes violation, police said.

Man faces stolen property charge
MILFORD Police applied for a summons Sunday for a 27-year-old Milford man.
Javier Santiago-Perez, of 24 Water St., will be charged with receiving stolen property over $250, police said.

Driver accused of hitting parked cars
MILFORD An 18-year-old Milford man was arrested Sunday night and charged with drunken driving after police said he hit two parked cars.
Felipe S. Tacuri, of 56 Forest St., was arrested at about 9:15 p.m. and was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and driving without a license, police said.
Police said Tacuri first hit a car parked on South Main Street and fled. Officers caught up with him on Forest Street, shortly after he hit another parked car in front of 38 Forest St. Both cars were severely damaged and were towed from the scene, police said.

Man arrested on driving charge
BELLINGHAM A 32-year-old Franklin man was arrested Sunday and charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license, being disorderly and disturbing the peace, police said.
Kevin R. Bariteau, of 331 Gatehouse Lane, was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. near 342 Hartford Ave., police said.

Man charged with drunken driving
HOPEDALE - Police arrested a Milford man Sunday at about 4:50 a.m. on a drunken driving charge on Dutcher Street.
Garrett Oldfield, 22, of 246 Congress St., was also charged with one count of possessing marijuana.
