Teens charged with drug possession
HOPEDALE - Police arrested two local teenagers early Saturday following a traffic stop on Mendon Street, near Hammond Road.
Police said they stopped a car driven by George Difrancesco, 18, of 4 Colonial Drive, Mendon, about 2:35 a.m. for failure to display a front license plate and for failing to stay within marked lanes.
Police charged Difrancesco with driving under the influence of liquor, possession of a Class E drug (prescription medication) and possession of a false ID. His passenger, Nicholas Jacquot, 18, of 14 Henry's Path, Upton, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Webster man faces theft of copper pipe charge
NORTHBRIDGE - Police are seeking charges in Uxbridge District Court against a 24-year-old Webster man for allegedly stealing 600 feet of copper pipe from Village Congregational Church on Church Street in Whitinsville.
Police last Wednesday received a report of a young man loading copper pipe into his pickup truck from the church, which is undergoing renovations.
They said they traced the truck to Webster and police there found it on Prospect Street, with the copper pipe in still inside. Webster Police arrested the man on a warrant from Dudley District Court, Northbridge Police said.
They said they are not yet identifying him because they are concerned about jeopardizing the investigation.
Northbridge Police are charging the man for breaking and entering during the daytime for a felony, larceny greater than $250, and malicious destruction greater than $250.

Three faces charges after disturbance
BELLINGHAM Three people were arrested Sunday following a domestic dispute on Pulaski Boulevard, police said.
Kimberly A. Albano, 40, of 48 Blackstone St., Blackstone, and John E. Doyle, 42, of 15 Harding St., Milford, were arrested around 6 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and disturbing the peace, police said.
Brandon M. Natola, 19, of 2 Sharon Circle, Uxbridge, was also arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, police said.

R.I. man charged with violating restraining order
BELLINGHAM A 31-year-old East Providence, R.I., man was arrested yesterday and charged with violating a restraining order, police said.
Jeremiah R. Rego, Jr., of 113 Leon St., was arrested around 7 a.m. at police headquarters.

Cops: Woman hit boyfriend with car
MILLVILLE Police applied for a summons on a 23-year-old Woonsocket, R.I., woman Sunday.
Melissa Plasse, of 43 Adams St., will be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a motor vehicle, police said.
The summons was issued around 11:30 a.m. on Hope Street after police said she hit her boyfriend with the gray Buick sedan she was driving. He landed on hood of car, but was not injured.

Teen faces charge of driving with no license
MILFORD Police applied for a summons for a 15-year-old boy Sunday night. The boy, whose name was not released because of his age, will be charged with driving without a license, police said.
Police pulled over the boy around 7:30 p.m. near 9 Simon Drive, police said.

Franklin teen faces vehicle, license charges
FRANKLIN A 19-year-old Franklin man was arrested Saturday and charged with several motor vehicle violations, police said.
Wayne P. Sullivan, of 4 Short St., was arrested around 12:15 p.m. near 510 West Central St. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, no inspection sticker, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, improper equipment and unregistered motor vehicle, police said.

Somerville man charged with operating to endanger
FRANKLIN A 47-year-old Somerville man was arrested Saturday night and charged with speeding, failing to stop for police and driving to endanger, police said.
Michael A. Haley, of 5 Adrian St., was arrested around 11:20 p.m. near 1077 Pond St., police said.

Bellingham man arrested on warrant
MENDON - A 21-year-old Bellingham man was arrested Sunday on a warrant, police said.
Eric Calderwood, of 49 Douglas Drive, was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Hastings Street at 2:52 p.m., police said.

Milford man arrested on warrant
MARLBOROUGH A Milford man was arrested early yesterday on warrant motor vehicle charges, police said.
Renato M. Ferreira, 21, of 40 Prospect St., was arrested at 1:38 a.m., police said.
