Dunkin' Donuts evacuated
MENDON - The Dunkin' Donuts on Uxbridge Road was evacuated Tuesday morning after a report of a gas odor, but there turned out to be no leak, said Fire Lt. Mike Zarella.
The Coffee Coolatta machine broke down and caused an electrical smell inside the building, Zarella said. Meter readings found no gas presence, Zarella said.
The building also lost some of its power. NStar restored power about 9:30 a.m., a little more than two hours after the incident was reported.
The Coolatta machine was shut down and deemed unusable until it receives service, Zarella said.

R.I. man charged with driving with suspended license
MILLVILLE - Police charged a Central Falls, R.I., man with two driving violations Tuesday afternoon after a traffic stop.
Jason Macedo, 28, of 40 Bagley St., Apt. 2, faces one count each of speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was driving with a suspended Rhode Island driver's license, police said. The traffic stop happened on Central Street about 1 p.m.

Milford man charged with driving with revoked license
MILFORD - A 50-year-old Milford man was arrested Tuesday and charged with driving with a revoked license and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.
Robert A. Murphy, of 17 Colonial Road, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. after a motor vehicle stop near a 198 Congress St., police said.

Milford woman charged with skipping jury duty
MILFORD - A 29-year-old Milford woman was arrested Tuesday night and charged with failure to attend jury duty, police said.
Natasha Kirkland, of 54 West St. was arrested at her home around 9 p.m., police said.

Franklin man faces license, vehicle charges
FRANKLIN - A 37-year-old Franklin man was arrested Tuesday night on several motor vehicle charges, police said.
David B. Menize, of 254 Glen Meadow Road, was arrested around 6 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop near 1199 West Central St., police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, miscellaneous motor vehicle violation and unregistered motor vehicle, police said.

Milford woman faces driving with no license charge
MENDON - Police applied for a summons for a 26-year-old Milford woman on motor vehicle charges, police said.
Jossy Alves Dasilva, of 50 Prospect Heights, will be charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of special regulation, police said.
Dasilva was pulled over on Maple Street at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
