Mendon pedestrian hit by car
MENDON - A Mendon man was treated and released from UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after he was hit by a car Wednesday evening while walking on Cape Road, the hospital said.
Peter Rochat, 20, 1 Barrows Road, was hit by a car driven by Susan Byam, 55, of 148 Mendon St., Bellingham, police said. Police are still investigating and no charges have been filed.

Whitinsville woman detained on ICE warrant
MILFORD - A Whitinsville woman who was arrested Thursday night at a downtown business was wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, police said.
Stael F. Ferreira, 47, of 78 Theresa Circle, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. after police said they responded to a 911 call at Stael Fashion at 44 Central St.
Ferreira was charged with domestic assault and battery after a responding officer saw her punch her husband in the face, police said.
Police contacted ICE, and the federal agency requested Ferreira be detained until morning. Ferreira is originally from Brazil, police said.

Bellingham man arrested on warrant
HOPEDALE - Police arrested a Bellingham man Thursday afternoon on a warrant from Uxbridge District Court, after pulling his car over on Warfield Street.
David Mytych, 20, of 23 Caryville Crossing, was also charged with one count each of speeding, a marked-lanes violation, negligent driving, unlicensed driving and not slowing at an intersection. Police stopped him about 3:10 p.m.

Woburn man charged with driving with suspended license
FRANKLIN - Police arrested a 21-year-old Woburn man Thursday morning at 8:42 a.m. on Kenwood Circle following a traffic stop.
Jonas G. Medrano, of 6 Middlesex Canal Park, was charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license, police said.

Franklin woman arrested on warrant
FRANKLIN - Police arrested a 38-year-old Franklin woman who had a warrant out for her arrest out of Avon, Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. on East Central Street. Tracy M. Simard, of 732 Gatehouse Lane, had a warrant charging her with with forgery of a document and uttering a false prescription, police said.
