Two hurt in Franklin crash
FRANKLIN - Two people were injured in a one-car crash yesterday at about 12:20 p.m.
Carlo Delbene Jr., 35, of 76 Cottage St., Franklin, and Carlo Delbene, 56, of 145 North Washington St., North Attleborough, were taken by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center after the car they were in hit a fence on Milligan Avenue, police said. Their condition was not available, though police said it was a minor crash.

Middle school student faces pot charge
MILFORD - Police applied yesterday for a summons to charge a 13-year-old Middle School East student with possession of marijuana.
Police say the boy, whose name was not released because he is a minor, had a glass marijuana pipe in his pocket with a small amount of marijuana while at school.

Milford man charged with assault
MILFORD - Police arrested a Milford man at 3 a.m. yesterday, charging him with assault and battery for allegedly punching his wife after she went to her boyfriend's house.
Jeremais Cruz Jr., 34, of 22 Spring St., 1st floor, was charged after he called police to report his wife left their children home alone. Police said they found the woman at home with the children.
The woman told police Cruz punched her after she went to a bar Thursday night, and then to her boyfriend's house while her husband watched their three young children at home.
Cruz ended up leaving the home and confronted her on the street, hitting her in the head, police said. Police say they contacted the state Department of Children and Families because either Cruz or his wife left their children home alone.

Woonsocket man arrested on warrant
FRANKLIN - Police arrested a 39-year-old Woonsocket, R.I., man on a warrant on King Street Thursday morning at about 11:30 a.m.
Jeremy Poole, of 2 Diamond Hill Road, was arrested on a warrant.

Woonsocket man charged with OUI
FRANKLIN - Police arrested a 46-year-old Woonsocket, R.I., man on Washington Street Thursday night at about 11:40 p.m. following a traffic stop.
Glenn M. McDuff, of 2 Winthrop St., was charged with a marked lanes violation, driving to endanger, and a second offense of driving under the influence of liquor.

Franklin High School student arrested
FRANKLIN - Police arrested a 17-year-old at Franklin High School on Thursday morning.
Garrett Haganey, of 17 Wadsworth Farm Road, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery on a public employee, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing school functions, police said.
