A man suspected of an armed robbery at a Cape Cod bank was nabbed at his apartment on Friday night.
Police say Jason Labbe, 28, of 30 Webster St., Apartment 2, held up the Main Street branch of the Bank of America in Falmouth on Friday afternoon.
He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, but witnesses' descriptions led police to Labbe at his Middleboro apartment.
Detective Joseph M. Perkins arrested Labbe at 5:30 p.m., about three hours after he held up the bank and turned him over to Falmouth police.
Falmouth Detective Ronald Carpenter said some of the loot was recovered, about $9,400. Carpenter said an investigation is underway to determine if Labbe has been involved in other area holdups.
Police say Labbe has an extensive criminal record in Massachusetts and Florida.
Labbe was charged with armed robbery and held in the Barnstable House of Correction.
