What class did you hear this in? :/: I would be very interested (but not very surprised) to see Massachusetts law stating that your officially a different age before your birthday, that's just plain absurd. But being Massachusetts, I would not be surprised the legislature would come up with something like that either. :smokin:
I don't believe there is a MGL regarding this, but it is thorugh common law, and various court case decisions. Some of these are Apkin v. Treasurer and Receiver General, 401 MAss. 427, 428 n. 3 (1988), and Flynn v. Associated Press, 401 Mass. 776, 780 n. 6 (1988). That's right out of a Pat Rogers book.
