Baltimore County has their own police department, this Officer was assigned to their tactical (SWAT) team.
Md. Tactical Officer Fatally Shot Serving Warrant
A Baltimore County police tactical officer was fatally shot while serving a warrant at a home in the Winters Lane area of Catonsville on Wednesday morning, according to police.
The officer was identified as Jason Schneider, 36, a 13-year-veteran of the force. The tactical officer was inside a home in the 1200 block of Winters Lane at the time of the shooting around 5:30 a.m. Officials said he was a married father of two.
Police said Schneider and other officers had been going room to room in the house when he was shot several times. He returned fire and hit a suspect, who remains in critical condition at Shock Trauma.

The POS that killed Baltimore County PD Officer Schneider is dead. He died as a result of the GSWs he sustained in the firefight with Officer Schneider. I thought you might want to know. RIP, Officer Schneider.
Baltimore County PD has almost 2000 sworn officers.
