ODENTON, Md. - Police seized $18,000 of marijuana, $9,000 cash and numerous firearms from an Odenton home this week and arrested two men on drug charges, Anne Arundel County police announced today.
Concluding a two-month investigation into suspected drug dealing, police raided a home in the 1700 block of Holladay Park Road on a search warrant Tuesday and found a five-gallon bucket in a shed containing high quality marijuana, two gallon-sized plastic bags of marijuana, 47 Oxycodone pills, digital scales and $1,300 in cash, police said.
In the house, police found four loaded weapons: a .357 magnum Rossi handgun, a Glock .45 semi-automatic handgun, a Smith and Wesson .357 handgun and a 12-gauge combat shotgun. They also found night-vision goggles, a bulletproof vest, police scanner and $7,500 in cash, police said.
Officers also searched a large garage with attached apartment where they found a half an ounce of marijuana, a Glock .45 semi-automatic handgun, a Winchester 12-gauge shotgun and $500 in cash, police said.
Richard Britt Hill, 38, who was found in the home, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute Oxycodone, possession of a firearm in a drug-trafficking crime and other lesser charges, police said.
The occupant of the apartment, Nolan Leroy Jacobs, 40, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
