Be careful certain people here take serious offense to you saying massport jobs take political juice hahaha

Also aren't these guys merging with c6 since we're taking over the seaport? :D;)
I didn't know 6 house patrolled the port . Makes sense I guess since it's considered South Boston, just never considered it part of the town growing up.

Probably because nobody want anything to do with it :p .

The chisel is an interesting tool for law enforcement lol. This PD is a secret society. I think they patrol the massport owned parks and piers. Not sure what else. There is pending legislation to upgrade their retirement. They need to get rid of the sspo authority and have it granted through legislation. Massport is a governmental organization that I am sure has enough clout to do that.

Wow that’s better than I thought! Assuming it doesn’t have some criminal amount of steps like some unions we know who have to work 20 years to reach top step.. well like i said, id gladly go patrol some piers and take a break from ODs and DKs especially so since the money wouldn’t be much of a change! Side note: I can’t believe they still have EMT stipends; who needs that headache when you can dump Medicals off on Fire/EMS!

Right. My point was simply that whatever group they do belong to still follows the same retirement charts. Where the retirement funds are held is whatever - but I thought they were group2 but maybe not because the firefighters are group 4
