RAYMOND, N.H. -- Two Massachusetts men are in custody in New Hampshire, suspected of stealing nearly $1,400 worth of items from more than a dozen area pharmacies.According to court documents, 41-year-old Paul Desmond of Andover, Mass., told police that he and 47-year-old Paul Dinardo of Waltham and Revere, Mass., stole from 10 to 15 Rite-Aid and CVS stores during a theft spree this week to get drug money. The statement said the men hit stores in Seabrook, Kingston, Salem, Derry and Raymond.
They were arrested Wednesday evening in Raymond after a police officer got suspicious when he saw a pickup parked by the door of a Rite-Aid store. A search of the truck turned up everything from pregnancy tests to diet pills and rehargeable batteries.
