A Marshfield man is facing criminal charges following a pair of arrests this week.
Matt Etro, 23, of 3 Pierce Road in Marshfield, was arrested and charged with drunken driving on Monday night in Rockland.
Less than four hours later, Etro was arrested again by Rockland police on a disorderly conduct charge.
After being held overnight, Etro pleaded innocent to the charges at his arraignment in Hingham District Court on Tuesday, and released his personal recognizance.
Police said the incidents started at 9:18 p.m., on Monday, when an officer saw Etro drive his 1996 Chevrolet Lumina into another car, which had stopped for a red light on Hingham Street. Etro was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, failure to stay within marked lanes and failure to wear a seat belt.
Police said he was bailed out by his sister at 11:15 p.m.
Then, about 75 minutes later, police then got a call about a man jumping in front of cars on Hingham Street near White Road. Police said when officers arrived, they found Etro standing in the middle of the street, yelling at cars as they passed by. He was arrested again, police said, on disorderly conduct charges.
