RANDOLPH -
A man was struck three times in an apparent drive-by shooting outside a Randolph apartment complex Wednesday night.
Police said witnesses told them a car drove by and four shots were fired, three of which struck the victim, who was outside the Town and Country Apartments on Reed Street at about 9 p.m.
The car then sped away.
A neighbor who refused to be identified said the victim yelled, "I can't believe he shot me," indicating he knew his attacker.
The victim, police said, was hit once in the right shoulder and twice in the left leg.
His condition was unavailable.

RANDOLPH -
Police in Randolph are seeking a newer model, darker-colored Nissan Altima suspected of being used in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night.
Randolph police Detective Lt. Arthur Sullivan said the four-door car may have had tinted windows.
The shooting took place at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday on Reed Street by the exit to the parking lot of the Piccadilly Pub restaurant. Four shots were fired from the vehicle, with three striking the victim, Kamar Cummings, 25.
Cummings, who lives nearby, managed to make it across Reed Street before collapsing in front of the apartment building at 8 Reed St.
Witnesses said Cummings was struck once in the shoulder and twice in the legs.
Cummings was taken by ambulance to Boston Medical Center. He was released from the hospital Thursday night.
Sullivan said investigators are approaching the case from "a couple of different angles."
"We are comfortable that this is not a random shooting," Sullivan said.
Asked if the shooting was gang-related, Sullivan replied, "There's nothing to indicate that at this time."
Sullivan said police don't know how many people were in the car at the time of the shooting.
Police recovered four shell casings at the scene.
State Police are assisting Randolph detectives in the investigation.
After three shooting murders last year, this was the town's first incidence of gun violence since April 1, when Howard Trang shot and seriously wounded co-worker Jean Dure of Weymouth at Alloy Fabricators of New England on York Avenue. Trang committed suicide a short time later.
No one was hurt the day before when a two shots were fired at a West Street apartment where a three people - including a 6-year-old child - were sleeping.
The police department recently added six new officers and is hiring six more who were funded by a Proposition 2½ override. In April, the department also reactivated its youth violence and street crimes unit.
