The man convicted of shooting two Pearl police officers was sentenced to 88 years in prison on Thursday.
A jury found Vincent Mayers guilty of two counts of aggravated assault last month.
The two officers were shot in 2006 at the Crest View Apartments when they were trying to serve an arrest warrant to Mayers.
The warrant was for possession of stolen guns.
