HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A Wilbraham man has died after allegedly going to his ex-girlfriend's house to kill her early Monday morning.
Holyoke Police Chief Anthony Scott told 22News right after midnight Stephen Budreau's wife called Wilbraham police, saying she was tied up in her home by her husband and that he was now on his way to Holyoke to kill his ex-girlfriend.
Budreau was found in the woods behind his ex-girlfriend's house at 302 County Road with a self-inflicted gun shot wound. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he later died. He was charged with threat to commit a crime, illegal possession of a firearm, and violation of a restraining order.
