A 20-year-old man is accused of robbing a man in the South End with the help of three others overnight.

Boston police said the victim was robbed in the area of Boylston and Clarendon streets around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The victim told police he was walking down the street when four black men approached him and asked for directions. The victim said before he could answer them one of the men pointed to his waist, suggesting he had a firearm and demanded money and his phone.

The victim handed over his phone and cash and the men fled. After the incident was reported to police, officers found four men who matched the victim's descriptions. Police said the men appeared nervous and they were detained for questioning.

The victim later identified 20-year-old Reginald Milton, of Hyde Park, as the man who demanded cash and his phone. Milton was charged with armed robbery.
