Buddy of mine whose a retired Chief and now security director at a mall in western mass should see this. I feel bad for these guys in a way. They are always ragged on and never taken seriously. Partly the industry is to blame, partly we as cops are as well cuz we contribute to it. *just sayin'*:smug:
For the security of the mall 24x7 a security guard with weapon and a camera security both will work and with the limit of budget. Great option to be work out.
Rajiv here can protect a mall better than any of you infidels with your fancy cameras and duty belts.
I've seen that thing used effectively for a crowd event...BUT...you have to have people on the ground to direct because it takes a bit to raise and lower that thing.
This is not true that very few malls have 24/7 security because by looking at the current scenario everyone atleast have camera security in their mall which remains on for whole day and night. Ya but it may happen that they do its not visible in the parking lot.
