Just looking for some information in regards to Police Mountain Bikes. What kinds would you reccomend, and if you have had any horror stories with certain companies. Thanks for your help.. Looking to add a few more bikes to the fleet.

S&W are ok, but I have heard the cheaper models have had their share of flaws and problems. All the cobweb Instuctors I had all recomened Fuji.

Smith & Wesson bike is good, I rode it for several years. The full suspension Merc-Benz bike sucks, you can't adjust handle-bars, and it's got a very long reach from the seat- extremely uncomfortable. Don't consider a full suspension unless you're going to be primarily riding off road (you lose a lot of power) stick with the smith with just front suspension...it's a solid bike and widely used.

Check with mark at Landrys in Framingham. They are awesome and treat us well. We have 5 or 6 Cannondales that are pretty nice rides.

I would goto Landry's - they can help guide you on getting a good bike. I mountain bike myself and there's a world of difference between a cheap bike and a solid mountain bike.

Landry's has been great to me.
