Why would you lock a topic? If you dont want to see where that particular topic is headed, don't follow it. If people want to respond to the topic, why shut them out? I just never understood locking topics......

This isn't a rant site. Some topics just get ridiculous and what once would have provided useful information, opinions and different points of view then just turns into caca. Other times, some posters are just looking to stir the pot or continuing on a conversation that has been beaten to death repeatedly. Locking topics is a way of giving people a cooling off period when topics get out of hand and adult discussions are no longer an option.

Hope that clears it up for you.

I disagree if people want to read caca and run off at the mouth/finger tips let em. If you don't want to read it, its like watching T.V don't go to that thread. I am sick of the Sheriff's radar teams thread, so I simply don't read or post on it anymore.

Elemantary my dear Watson
