Legality of non-firing Replica Guns in MA

Greetings,

I am interested in purchasing and owning a non-firing replica of a MG-34 and a C96, specifically, those that are manufactured by Denix. I intend for these to only be in-home display pieces, and would never leave the house. I have looked around and I have seen conflicting information on if I can legally own these, and if I need to register them and have a license. According to Denix, their replicas are unable to fire as they lack the mechanisms to allow them to do so and have obstructed barrels.

Here is a link to the items in question.
MG-34: MG 34 machine gun, Germany 1934 (WWII) - Submachine gun - World War I & II 1914-1945 - Denix
C97 Mauser: C96 pistol, Germany 1896 - Pistols - World War I & II 1914-1945 - Denix

And here is a link to where they explain the lack of function of their replicas: Warning

Thanks!

Mass. General Laws c.140 § 121
Firearms sales; definitions; antique firearms; application of law; exceptions

“Imitation firearm”, any weapon which is designed, manufactured or altered in such a way as to render it incapable of discharging a shot or bullet.
A "deceptive weapon device" as you described, and covered under the above referenced law, is 100% legal for you to own and possess. It is NOT a firearm. As they are "never going to leave the house" then don't worry.

Want to worry? Use them to commit a crime such as a robbery, or place someone in imminent fear with one. (assault) Otherwise relax. They are in same category as a kitchen utensil.
Purchase a replica Flak 88 and pop that bad-Larry in your front yard, then I’ll be impressed.
