CHICAGO -- The guardian of a 14-year-old boy who was stunned by Chicago police has filed a lawsuit in the incident.
Medics called police to the Uhlich Facility, located at 3737 N. Mozart St., on Monday because the boy reportedly wouldn't allow them to tend to his bloody hands, NBC5's Anna Davlantes reported. The teenager is recovering at Children's Memorial Hospital after going into cardiac arrest as a result of being shot with a Taser gun. Cline said the 6-foot-1-inch, 220-pound boy was threatening officers when they used a Taser gun on him.
The lawsuit accuses police of negligence and misconduct, NBC5 reported.
