Hello all,
Recently I attended a Law enforcement dimensions seminar. During the class I was informed that they were going to be publishing a reference guide for Campus Police. They asked me for my input on what subjects should be covered. I informed them that I would love to have a book that deals with Campus situations and would e-mail them some ideas. When I got home I thought that I would ask for your input on the subject. I already intended to cover the issue of stopping vehicles without having chapter 90. Also the issue of domestics, with students who are in forced living conditions. What other categories would you like to see?

How bout dealing with Liberal Administrations and Dealing with Administrations who dont know the first thing about Police work? ](*,)

You could mention how most college police departments are not prepared for a terrorist attack or a columbine style active shooting situation because. first of all most college in Assachusetts don't arm their police and second most college do not train their police for such incidents.

You can also tell them its only a matter of time before something catastrophic happen tick tock tick tock tick tock :2c:

5: Security Ideas (preventing public from using whatever, ex library)

Major issue to discuss is Search + Seziure, especially the differance between acting as a Police Officer and acting as a School Official.

I.E. bag and dorm searches, that College Policy may allow, but would be thrown out in Court in the event of criminal pros.

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I want to thank all of you for your suggestions. I will forward your suggestions to ledimensions. I didn't get a chance to discuss any of these issues with the auther, but if I get any feedback I'll post it A.S.A.P.
