A judge barred the general manager of an Allston eatery from the Internet yesterday after police said he posted one of the 1,000 child porn files he downloaded on an online chat.
William "Bill" Krott III, 30, of Winthrop - with his wife at his side - pleaded not guilty in East Boston District Court to possession and dissemination of child porn, and was released on $3,000 cash bail and ordered to wear a GPS bracelet. A judge also prohibited Krott from being around kids under 18.
Prosecutors said Krott posted a picture depicting "graphic child pornography" during an online chat last November, which was then forwarded to a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's CyberTip program. When cops searched his computer, they found "several graphic images involving children," prosecutors said.
