Better get a pair of pants about two sizes too big first....that's quite a cannon!

It does have some weight to it, but I don't think it's much wider then most revolvers.

At least you'll be able to find ammo for the .40, 9 is like a scavenger hunt!

I'll see if I can scavenge my loose ammo canister for some 9mm for you, Hush. It's one if those calipers that I will doubtfully own again.

Check out http://n82tactical.com/ They have awesome holsters. It's a small business that makes some real quality stuff. If you're on the job they will give you a discount.

I really want one of those for my incoming G21 Gen 4 that will probably be really awesome.

I used to carry a nice P220. Geniuses who run shit on my job, decided that P226 in .40 was a better choice due to price of ammo and capacity. I was very comfortable with 7 + 1

But yes, I prefer one of my two .45's for personal off duty carry, to anything else. Would you rather hit someone with broomstick or a baseball bat?

A friend of mine bought one for his Shield. I prefer a rigid leather IWB. I have one for my Kahr P45. Pretty happy with it. The 686 will be a monster to carry in the waistband.

I often carry a full size M&P 9mm IWB and two extra mags.

Overkill, maybe...but I like to be able to adequately address any situation I encounter if E&E is not an option.

Unless I'm doing it wrong, the biggest barrel I can find is 2.5"

Believe it or not I actually carry my Glock 23 in it with sweatpants. I'm not a big jeans guy so I had to find something that would work with sweats. It's surprisingly pretty comfortable and secure for such a heavy gun. It can be a little awkward siting down but it's still comfortable and easy to draw. Gotta make sure you tighten your pants string though!

Try giving them a call. One of the Nates might be able to help you out.

    Good shootin' today Tex.

I have to publicly apologize to meowboy. It's a nice little gun. Recoil was smooooooth, and trigger was typical Sig single action delicious.
