"Pitts is the first Terre Haute officer to die in the line of duty since July 11, 2011." Wow, a WHOLE 7 YEARS! Tragic. I do NOT mourn his killer, but I DO mourn Officer Pitts and I pray for all who know and love him best. God, please see to it that the Terre Haute PD never suffers another LOD death. They've had more than their share.
