A 32-year-old man who the police said impersonated a New York officer and extorted sex acts from prostitutes in Manhattan and Queens was arrested on Monday and charged with seven crimes, according to the police.
Four times this year, the police said, the man, Warren Taylor, drove around the city in a red 2010 Nissan, approached prostitutes, identified himself as an officer and threatened to arrest them if they did not perform sex acts for free. In one case, he hit a woman in the face, causing bruising, the police said.
Mr. Taylor, of Bushkill, Pa., was charged with criminal impersonation of an officer, kidnapping, patronizing prostitutes, assault, forcible touching and criminal weapons possession.

  2. Oh poor prostitutes. And here they were just trying to work an honest day for an honest dollar.

Sorry, I find it difficult to have sympathy for people who get hurt doing things that they shouldn't be doing.
