The test is based on common sense. They give you the rule or reg and then give you a scenario. Then you have to apply the rule/reg to the situation. basic stuff. The good thing is that you are a female and we are in need of female staff. framingham is short of staff. They do send most if not all of the females to framingham. If you have any other issues or thoughts just e-mail me and I will gladly help you with anything. The last and most important. Be in shape for the run/situp/pushup. This is where everyone fails.

Yeah JY, but an old fart like me gets 14:29...
I might puke, bleed, or drop-dead at the finish line, but I WILL PASS THAT TEST!! (If I get called that is...)

jamiesscrew,

Not a lot of candidates make it past the PT. I had training the other week and know most of the DI's. One told me on a average day they have 25-30 candidates for prescreen. Only about 19 show and the first thing is PFT. Out of 19 only 3 passed. There is one shot and one shot only. I would start running and do the sit-ups and push-ups you will have sometime before the test is certified. But when they call you it is usually short notice. As far as the interview be yourself and honest. I think you will do just fine. Good luck. Jim

As far as the PT goes, are those figures in reference to a one minute interval? For instance, 32 sit ups and 23 push ups per minute?
