A Hull woman and a Rockland man are facing drug charges after being arrested by Hull police.
Lindsey Bazinet, 20, of 637 Nantasket Ave., Hull, and Kenneth J. Molloy Jr., 27, of 46 Beal Court, Rockland, were arraigned Monday in Hingham District Court on charges including possession of marijuana and depressants with intent to distribute.
According to court documents, Hull police had been looking for Molloy, who was the subject of several burglary investigations in Rockland and Whitman and had two active default warrants out of Quincy District Court. He was believed to be staying in Hull.
At about 9:30 p.m. Friday, Hull police received a report that a vehicle entering town was being driven erratically. The registration was that of a car known to be driven by Molloy.
Officers said they followed the car into a parking area on Hull Shore Drive. After the driver, Molloy, had been handcuffed, officers noticed a marijuana pipe in the car, police said. A police dog led officers to five bags of marijuana in the front console. Police said officers found 198 Seroquel pills and 97 trazadone pills in a jar in the trunk along with a small scale, a marijuana pipe and a notebook containing drug and merchandise transactions.
Bazinet, a passenger in the car, was also charged with receiving stolen property valued at more than $250 - a camera reported stolen in Whitman was found in her bag - and Molloy was charged with driving with a suspended license.
Both were released on their promise to return to court Sept. 29.
