I bought one of those stupid HI VIZ Blauer polos today for obvious reasons, traffic details.

Anyway, does anyone have any experience with maintaining these? At $85 I'd like it to last a while. Do you dry clean them? Hang dry them? Never wash them? The label says wash cold and warm dry good for "25 care cycles"!! So you mean to tell me it's good for 25 washes!?!?!?! That's nuts.

Wash mine on gentle/cold only a little detergent and hang to dry. It's 2 years old and looks fine

The 25 washes is what Blauer expects the reflective taping to last for. I agree its BS, just to make you buy another one. The same goes for the reflective tape on the spring/fall reversible coats. They say 50 washes or less. Whatever, I wear it until the sleeves fall off. I get my clothing allowance in a check, so spending a clothing allowance on uniforms is for the birds. ;)

If your paying for your own stuff ( i did too ) wait till it falls apart or somebody says something :D

As long as it's cleaned and pressed, right ?
Skip the dry cleaning. Construction sites are so dirty you'd go broke. Regular wash is fine
