Hella gonna get caught
Two policemen -- Officer Lucas and Officer Funk (we swear, that's his
name) -- were sent out around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 17 to investigate
reports of a person breaking into cars on the 1600 block of Folsom Street.
When they got there, it didn't take long to find the suspect, a San Jose
man, and the victim, who told the officers that he'd seen the suspect
break one of his car windows. He also happened to have videotape of the
incident, which, we assume, could make this crime a wee bit easier to
prosecute.
The newsletter goes on to report: "During a search of the suspect ...
Officer Funk recovered a cell phone and observed a 'sent'" text message
saying, '#@!? hella gone tryn break into cars in tha cuty.'"
So in addition to getting caught, this guy can't spell ("cuty" is no shorter
than "city") and likes to document his crimes before they occur.
