Police need help identifying two
HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - Police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery at the Shell station on Route 9 in Hadley Sunday night. The Hadley Police Department has now released the surveillance video hoping that someone will recognize the two suspects.
The duo walked into the Shell station on Russell Street around 9 o'clock Sunday night and threatened the clerk with a knife to hand over the cash in the register. After they got what they came for, the two suspects took off in an unknown direction.
The clerk was not injured in the robbery.
Hadley Police were assisted Sunday night by UMass police and State Police and their K-9 unit, but their search came up unsuccessful. Hadley police continue their search for suspects and now they're asking for your help.
The first suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 6' tall and medium build. The suspect had a tribal tattoo under his right eye. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white baseball cap, and dark baggy jeans.
The second suspect is described as a fair-skinned white male in his 20's, approximately 6' tall and slender. The suspect had a band-aid under right eye, possibly covering up a scar or tattoo. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark baggy jeans.
