Editor's Note: According to the Georgia State Patrol, Ordiance Officer Kathy Cox was on duty and was driving a Gordon County Sheriff's Office vehicle at the time of the collision.

An armored vehicle owned by a Chattanooga firm was involved in a fatal wreck in Gordon County, Ga., on Thursday.
The Georgia State Patrol said charges are pending against Daniel Allen Clark of Fort Payne, Ala., who was driving a Loomis Fargo armored truck.
Gordon County Ordinance Officer Kathy Cox was killed in the fiery crash on Georgia Highway 136 near Hall Memorial Road when the truck went over into her lane.
Ms. Cox, 50, from Resaca was driving her pickup truck when she was struck head on shortly before noon.
