A Framingham man was attacked as he walked on Interfaith Terrace Sunday evening, beaten unconscious and robbed, police said.
At least two men attacked the 37-year-old victim around 10:15, Deputy Police Chief Craig Davis said.
Police went to Interfaith Terrace after receiving a 911 call about a brawl.
The officers found a large group of people standing near 12B Interfaith Terrace. One a man lay unconscious on the ground.
When the man, whom police did not identify, regained consciousness, he told them about the attack.
"He said two men jumped out at him, punched him and knocked him to the ground," Davis said.
The two men beat him until he was knocked out, and then they took off his necklaces and other jewelry, police said.
The man was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham to be treated for minor injuries.
The case is still under investigation, although Davis said detectives have two suspects. He would not name them.
