General Description:

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Applications will be utilized to fill future vacancies in a variety of divisions of the Sheriff's Office including Patrol, Transporation, Civil, Courtroom, and School Resource. Positions work to ensure the security of life and property, to prevent crime and disorder, and to enforce the laws of North Carolina and the United States. Completion of Law Enforcement Training and Certification (BLET) is required prior to application. Must be a United States Citizen, be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation which includes, but not limited to, panel intereview, criminal background check, polygraph, medical exam and drug-screen.
