The ford explorer i drove on patrol was to confining and with all the console things it made it cramped. Also something to think about. If the dont shut off the passenger side air bag and it deploys, then hits the equipment and the officer doesnt wear a belt could be a problem.
Ford Explorers
My department is close to purchasing a Ford Explorer for patrol. I have heard they are very tight once the cage and other equipment are installed. Does anyone have problems with this?
