I'm in the process of redoing our Town Hall with wireless networking.

Bought some Netgear 108 Mbps routers and cards...DAYUM! they are fast, reach much further than the older stuff, do better at "penetrating" concrete walls and clearing stair wells,. And best of all it plays nice with other protocols like our older 802.11b

Good stuff.

So u haven't have any problems with the netgear products. I ordered a netgear wireless hub and it was broken when i got it, so i returned it, no problems. but i haven't purchased another one yet. I just bought a new sony vaio laptop and it has wireless built in so i might take another shot at a wireless net work, i also have a ipaq pocket PC with 802.11b wireless. now my laptop is 802.11g but they are supposed to be backwards compatible. i am just unsure if i want another netgear or maybe another brand.
I'm not a huge netgear fan, normally I uses(d) Cisco, AT&T Paradyne, linksys, and netgear (in about that order)...

These just happened to be "dual channel" G's that get 108Mbps so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I do have a couple Netgear switches (wired) that have been running for YEARS without any problems.

So far so good...I think overall Lynksys really dominates the commercial WiFi market, so you can't really go wrong with that...
