FLETC mixed-basic

Can anybody give me some pointers on the mixed-basic program at FLETC? I'm headed there within a few months and I'd like to hear from people who've completed it. I'm hoping to get some tips on what to expect, should I bring a vehicle, is there anything to do in the area on the weekends etc etc. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.
