    BOSTON —
Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker ordered flags be lowered to half-staff Saturday in honor of the unexpected death of a U.S. Air Force airman.

Senior Airman Deanna Kelsey Richards, 26, of Ashland, died unexpectedly while training with the 27th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico.

Richards was born in Framingham and enlisted in the US Air Force after graduating from Suffolk University in 2012.

Baker ordered the US flag and the Commonwealth flag to be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings.

Kilvinsky I think, therefore I'll never be promoted.

The Proper thing to do. RIP Airman Richards, thank you for your service.
