Wichita, Kansas police say a man could face charges after accidentally shooting himself in the leg twice.
Police spokesperson Gordon Bassham says the man had a gun in his pocket. It fired and the bullet him in the leg. Then when he went to take it out of his pocket, it discharged again, once again hitting him in the leg.
The man went by private vehicle to a Wichita hospital where doctors performed surgery. He's expected to be okay, but he still has some legal troubles to worry about. There's a warrant out for his arrest and he's a convicted felon. Under Kansas law, convicted felons aren't allowed to carry guns.
