Brian Cunha, a personal injury lawyer with an office and billboards in Fall River, pleaded guilty Friday to refusing to take a Breathalyzer test.

He lost his license for nine months, was assessed fines and costs of $935 and was ordered to perform 10 hours of community service and take a program for substance abuse counseling, according to Amy Kempe, spokeswoman for Attorney General Peter Kilmartin.

Too bad he plead out and waived his right to an appeal, especially since "Refusing to take a Breathalyzer" is not a crime one can plead guilty to.

Ahhh, once again, quality and factual reporting from the media...
